The KCC key flag
Key Collector Comics has flagged Superman Annual: Year One Thousand #1 as a key issue. DC Annuals with KCC flags at the $5.99 price point — particularly those establishing new characters or future continuity — have a consistent secondary market track record in week one. This is one of eleven KCC-flagged keys this week — full breakdown: Key Issues to Watch — NCBD July 29 →. Source: Key Collector Comics.
The 'Year One Thousand' concept
The Year One Thousand concept in DC Comics revisits the far-future timeline first explored in Superman Annual #6 (1994). A new Annual revisiting that timeline a millennium later — with the post-Action Comics #1100 Superman — carries meaningful continuity significance for DC's future universe.
