The KCC key flag
Key Collector Comics has flagged Action Comics #1100 as a key issue. The specific key details are on the KCC issue page for subscribers. An anniversary issue of this scale — the most significant Superman milestone comic since Action Comics #1000 in 2018 — carrying a KCC key designation is exactly what collectors should be pulling in multiples today. Why #1100 matters
Action Comics #1 was published in April 1938. Superman's debut in that issue launched the superhero genre. No other ongoing superhero comic has published 1,100 issues. Action Comics #1000 (2018) launched at $7.99 with multiple variants and has maintained strong secondary market values — the Jim Lee 1:100 variant in particular. Action Comics #1100 follows the same structure: oversize issue, all-star creative team, multiple variants. 8 variants including a Jim Cheung foil.
