Absolute Catwoman #2 — DC Comics (0526DC0016)
Che Grayson, Scott Snyder, and Bengal continue the arc built on four confirmed Key Collector Comics keys from issue #1: 1st Cassandra Cain (Absolute), 1st Holly Robinson (Absolute), 1st Copycats, and 1st mention of the Calicos. Issue #2 is the best opportunity yet for the 1st full appearance of the Calicos. Early issues of key-carrying Absolute Universe runs are the ones to order in depth.
Absolute Superman — Reign of the Superman finale — DC Comics (0526DC0021)
Jason Aaron and Rafa Sandoval close out the Reign of the Superman arc. The mystery challenger from issue #20 gets identified. If the challenger is who many are speculating, this is a confirmed key appearance issue. Arc-closing Absolute Universe issues consistently attract completion buying. Order multiples.
Deadman #2 — DC Comics (0526DC0072)
W. Maxwell Prince and Martín Morazzo continue the DC Next Level debut that hit #8 on CovrPrice in its first week at $30 NM for the Mike Choi 1:25 variant. Early issues of strong DC Next Level debuts hold value.
Titans — DC Comics (0526DC0143)
DC ongoing. Part of the weekly slate alongside the Absolute Universe titles.
Dungeon Crawler Carl Special Edition #0 — Vault Comics
Matt Dinniman's LitRPG phenomenon gets its first comic from Vault Comics. 8 covers by Nathan Gooden and Brett Bean including Absolute Batman homage covers and foil full art variants. Ships July 15 — one week before San Diego Comic Con. A pre-SDCC spec play with a built-in fanbase.
How FOC works
Final Order Cutoff is the weekly deadline set by distributors at which retailers must lock in their orders for upcoming titles. Once FOC passes, print runs are set. Books that sell out at FOC do not get restocked at cover price. Ordering before FOC is how you guarantee your copy at cover price.
