What is Batman: Caped Crusader
Batman: Caped Crusader is an animated series created by Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves. It draws on the visual language and tone of the 1940s and 1950s — art deco Gotham, noir lighting, pre-Silver Age villain interpretations — while telling original stories. Hamish Linklater voices Bruce Wayne / Batman. Season 1 premiered on Amazon Prime Video in August 2024 and received widespread critical acclaim. Source: Amazon Prime Video official.
