Why this crossover matters
Predator and Planet of the Apes are both properties now under Disney / Marvel. This is the first time they have crossed over in comics. Both have deep, active collector communities. A first crossover issue between two properties with that depth of back-issue history carries inherent collector significance beyond its KCC designation. For other major crossover collector opportunities this year, see: Lara Croft Surprises in G.I. Joe #330 → and G.I. Joe / Tomb Raider #1 Pre-Order Guide →. With Avengers: Doomsday arriving December 18, Marvel IP collector relevance is at a peak. Full Doomsday key issues context: Avengers: Doomsday — Doctor Doom Key Issues →.
