McFarlane Toys just opened preorders (Aug 25) on a genuinely nostalgic release: a Batman Classic TV Series Collector Edition Batman & Robin 2-Pack, built around Adam West and Burt Ward's iconic 1966 looks.
What's in the box
- Two 7" scale figures — Batman and Robin, sculpted directly from their 1960s TV appearances
- Six alternate hands for combat or gadget-holding poses
- An alternate Batman head portrait for different display expressions
- Two Batarangs and a Batradio replica
- A Shakespeare bust with a working hidden switch — the classic Batcave-entrance gag from Wayne Manor
- Two art cards
Early hands-on previews single out the Shakespeare bust and Batradio as standout deep-cut inclusions — the kind of detail that signals this set was built for people who actually remember the show, not just the aesthetic.
Timing
Preorders opened August 25 at select retailers, with an expected ship date in October.
Worth knowing
This slots into McFarlane's existing Batman '66 sub-line, which already includes a solo Batman figure, a Batmobile, and a Batcave playset — all compatible with this new 2-pack for a full display setup.
