Daredevil #4 is on FOC this Monday — here's why this new series deserves your attention

A new Daredevil series launched earlier this year, and issue #4 hits Final Order Cutoff this Monday, June 8 at 10:00 pm Eastern.

The series is written by Stephanie Phillips with art by Lee Garbett. It carries the legacy number #691 and ships July 8, 2026.

What this issue is about

Matt Murdock is being pursued by a new and dangerous villain named Omen — described as a violent offender with a trail of corpses, who now has Murdock directly in his sights. The only thing standing between the two is Daredevil himself. Issue #4 continues that confrontation.

The new series context

This is a new volume of Daredevil, separate from the Saladin Ahmed run that preceded it. Phillips and Garbett are establishing their own direction for the character. With 17,433 readers currently pulling it on League of Comic Geeks and 710 want-it listings, it has built a solid early readership.

If you've been watching Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ — Season 2 wrapped in May to strong reviews — and want to follow the character in comics, this is the current ongoing series. Issue #1 is the best starting point; we have back issues available in store.
