DC's family superhero feature Clash of the Thundermans makes its movie premiere on Paramount+ Thursday, September 3.
The story
Youngest Thunderman sibling Chloe develops a new, unpredictable superpower — and it's dangerous enough that the Hero League steps in, demanding she be sent away to a superhero boarding school to learn to control it. The order sets off a rift within the Thunderman family, with Phoebe, Barb, and Billy going into hiding to protect Chloe rather than let her be taken.
Why it's worth knowing
The Thundermans has stuck around as one of Nickelodeon's most enduring superhero properties, and a streaming movie event like this tends to bring a wave of new, younger fans looking for their first taste of superhero storytelling. Worth keeping in mind for all-ages and younger-reader superhero comics on the shelf this week.
